What is an Orthodontist?
An orthodontist is a dentist who attended a graduate orthodontic program to specialize in orthodontics for a period of 2-3 years. Orthodontists understand the complexity of growth and development and facial form. Treatment plans include issues related to the jaw and bite, not just movement of the teeth.
